Therapist, coach, author, founder of the Academy of the 12 Heart Sciences

About me

Corinne Dettmer is a therapist and coach with her own practice. For more than 15 years, she has treated and supported sick and seriously ill people on their path to healing. Medicine and the meaning of our lives have always been her greatest interests. Drawing on her experiences, she redefines our emotions and needs and laid out these insights into our human FEELING and BEING in her debut work: "The 12 Commandments of the Heart" (copyright 2020), which won the NYC Big Book Award in the Philosophy category in 2021 for its English edition.

Guided by the desire to answer the human question of purpose and to heal the soul and body, she founded the "Academy of the 12 Heart Sciences" in 2019. Here, as a lecturer and coach, she teaches the philosophy of feeling and being. With a clear structure, she shows the way back to our humanity and helps people find their life's purpose in their search.

The teaching of the 12 Heart Sciences traces back to ancient, archaic principles and finds its purpose in our human BEING. It explains when and why our vitality becomes stagnant and at what point we lose our capacity to feel. This philosophical medicine, rooted in our hearts and in nature, restores our connection to our roots and the pulse of life. It is capable of resolving all illnesses by enabling people to find, acknowledge, and inhabit their place in life.

The author's philosophy is practical, humane, and revolutionary, born from her medical work in her practice. With sensitivity, she examines the construct of the human being and creates an image of our heart in which our emotions and feelings find their structure and purpose.

The philosophy of: "The 12 Commandments of the Heart" (copyright 2020) lies in life itself.
