Emotional dependence in philosophical medicine

Emotional dependency is currently considered by science to be untreatable or very difficult to treat. However, the scientific explanations and treatment approaches to date are, in my view, still incomplete and insufficiently developed.
Those affected suffer greatly and feel out of place in this world. In their distress, they try to seek help, but realize that although science has found a name for their suffering, it is powerless to treat it. Thus, an attempt is made to suppress and eliminate this intense emotionality, this feeling, which is "blamed" for the dependency. Emotional dependency is classified as a mental illness. This confirms those affected's feeling that something is wrong with them, that they are ill ....
They want to eliminate, suppress, and cut off this feeling—to finally find their inner peace again. But by eliminating their wonderful potential, their infinite capacity to feel, they destroy themselves ....
But there are ways out of these patterns. Encountering oneself and recognizing who one truly is frees us from responsibilities and conditioning. Finding one's way back to one's own heart and bringing forth the joy of life is the first step toward a new life ....
